REMINDS: An olfactive ode to the iconic song about a man who is tortured by thoughts of his girlfriend with someone else. The smell of dark ocean folds itself into complex notes of citrus and wood. A bit sappy, a touch bitter, but definitely fresh. Who would have thought betrayal would smell so good?

We use a natural blend of coconut and apricot with a cotton wick.

Comes in a glossy black glass 8.5oz (240g) container & carefully packaged in a matte silver box.

Note: Each one of our candles is considered a medium-sized candle (usually between 7-10 oz.) with one wick are appropriate for a medium-sized room, such as a bedroom. If you'd like for the fragrance to fill a larger room like a kitchen or living room, we suggest placing 2-3 candles for a stronger scent throw.

To ensure a safe and smooth burn, please follow these steps before lighting your candle each time

REMOVE ANY DEBRIS

Make sure your candle is free of any wick trimmings, matches, and other debris. These can reignite and create a flame that is too large for the candle, posing a safety issue and potentially shattering the jar.

TRIM YOUR WICK TO 1/4 INCH

Using a wick trimmer or a pair of scissors, trim your wick to ¼ of an inch before lighting your candle, every time. This is the optimal height for ensuring an even burn that is free of soot debris. ¼ inch is shorter than you think, about the size of a pencil eraser.

BURN FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR AND NO LONGER THAN 3-4 HOURS

To prevent tunneling, make sure to burn your candle for at least 1 hour at a time or until the melt pool reaches the edge of the glass before extinguishing. Vice versa, burning a candle for longer than 3-4 hours will cause carbon to collect on the wick, leading it to “mushroom”. The wick will then become unstable and produce a dangerously large flame.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY CNTXT STUDIOS CANDLE?

Cntxt Studios 8.5 oz candles have an average burn time of 50 hours if cared for properly. Here are some tips to get the most out of your Cntxt Studios Candle.

Always light your candle for 3-4 hours during the first burn session (until the wax reaches the edges of the vessel) to create an even burn and a long lasting candle.
To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than 5-6 hours at a time.
Before each burn, trim the wick to 1/8" to avoid black smoke, residue, and tunneling.
Always remove wick debris before lighting.
If the wick requires centering, readjust it to the center (only when the candle is unlit).
Always burn on a flat, stable, fireproof surface.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Do not burn the candle when less than 1/4" of wax remains in the glass.
Placing a hot candle on a cold surface such as marble or glass can cause the vessel to crack.

WHAT TYPE OF WAX DO YOU USE?

We use a unique blend of coconut & apricot wax for a clean and complete burn. A cleaner burn means less particle pollution in your home.

I got this scent around Christmas time and my room has been smelling fantastic lately! I love this candle too because it has just the right amount to not completely overtake your house with a scent and give you a headache but enough for you to thoroughly enjoy their scent. I love it!!!

Juniper and Lemon is a great combo.

There is just something about this candle I can’t describe. Sometimes the lemon comes through strong. Sometimes it’s the juniper. Either way, I can’t get enough. I love lighting it after a long day at work.
